Growing the Dream
Helm Bank USA was born in 1989, during the Savings & Loan Crisis, from the belief that every challenge holds the seed of opportunity. Our founder envisioned a bank that would connect international clients to the U.S. financial system — a dream that continues to guide us today.
Over the decades, we’ve grown alongside our clients, expanding our reach and deepening our relationships.
1989
Helm Bank USA was formed in 1989 from the vision of our founder who was determined to create a financial connection to the United States for multinational companies and foreign nationals.
1995
Established Representative Offices to provide more personalized banking services.
2000
Celebrated Helm Bank USA’s 10-year anniversary with significant growth and consolidation as we successfully navigated Y2K at the beginning of the new millennium.
2010
We successfully managed the 2008 Financial Crisis with our strong work ethic, outstanding service and deep knowledge of the marketplace.
2015

2020
With a new decade upon us, Helm Bank USA understands the importance of modernization. Our Transformation journey seeks to implement efficient processes, utilizing modern technology that enables ease of transaction to positively impact our clients’ experience.

In 2025, we proudly opened our newest full-service branch in Orlando, Florida, located at 201 S. Orange Ave, Suite 250. This expansion reflects our commitment to being closer to our clients and supporting their financial journeys with greater accessibility and convenience.
